RCTdesign.org : Learning

Intro to Statistics             Short Courses              Research Talks         Case Studies

A primary mission of RCTdesign.org is to teach the foundations, methods, and application of statistics for clinical trial design and analysis.  The maintainers of RCTdesign.org regularly present short courses on the design, monitoring, and reporting of group sequential clinical trials as well as special research topics such as adaptive methods for trial monitoring.  These courses all use RCTdesign as means to implement the discussed methodology. Resources include:

  1. courses materials developed for formal courses on introductory applied statistics and statistical theory at the University of Washington (these are provided as a resource for review of methods that might be referenced in other materials),

  2. a number of introductory level short courses on clinical trials methods for sequential monitoring, adaptive designs, randomization, etc.,

  3. more technical research talks, or

  4. case studies to illustrate the concepts of trial design and use of RCTdesign for addressing particular scientific problems.
